We exist to know Jesus and to make him known.

About us.

The Bible Talks (TBT) KZN is a non-denominational, reformed and evangelical ministry to university students, currently with a focus on the major universities of KwaZulu-Natal.

We are a registered not-for-profit company which is governed by it’s Constitution and a Governing Board.

As an organisation our aim is to reach the next generation of university students with the good news of Jesus.

Our story.

TBT began in 2003 as the university ministry of a local Durban church called Christ Church Glenwood (CCG) which is part of the REACH-SA (then CESA) network. It began work on the Howard College campus of the University of Natal (in 2004 becoming UKZN). Over the following years it also developed campus ministry on the Westville, Medical School, Edgewood and PMB campuses of UKZN, as well as a presence on Varsity College in Durban North.

By 2017 the decision was made for TBT to move from being the university ministry of a single local church, to instead become a regional organisation in partnership with as many like-minded local churches as possible. And so we have The Bible Talks KZN.

We currently count 12 local Durban churches as our partner churches. Our hope is that this better sets TBT up to be used by God to see the next generation of university students reached with the good news of Jesus.
