Amahubo 16: Indlela eya ekuphileni
Enye yezinto ezangenza ngangahlaliseka ngingumzalwane nje ongagxilile kwakungenxa yokuthi
zimbili izindlela zokuphila. Kuphakathi kokuthi ukhonza uNkulunkulu yena yedwa futhi uzinikele
ngokupheleleyo kuye noma ukhonza abanye onkulunkulu. Akukho ongathi akucacile. Kuphakathi
kwalokho nje. Lelihubo liyihubo lokwethemba - Ngokuthi, yize noma liqala ngamazwi okukhala
okungukufuna usizo, akusilo ihubo lesililo. Lihlanganisa umkhuleko nengoma noma ihubo,
ukukholwa nokwethembeka kuNkulunkulu (Ross, 2011, pp. 399-400: okuhunyushwe ngolimi
lesiZulu). Ihubo lingumsebenzi walowo owaziyo ukuthi zimbili izindlela zokuphila, ube esekhetha
ukuphila impilo yokuzinikela kuNkulunkulu. Lokhu kungubufakazi emkhulekweni wakhe ukuthi
ukhethe ukuzibandakanya nobani, indlela yokwaneliseka kwakhe nokuphepha kwakhe emhlabeni,
ekugcineni nethemba lakhe lokuphepha ngisho ekupheleni kwempilo yakhe.
Ukukholwa ku Yahweh (uJehova onguye) kuphela (1-4)
Ihubo livula ngesicelo sosizo kuNkulunkulu. Akucaci bha ukuthi umbhali wehubo ufuna
ukulondolozwa kwini. Kungabe ubhekene nobungozi? U-Weiser akacabangi ukuthi ubhekene
nenkinga. Kepha ucabanga ukuthi umbhali wehubo “uyakhuleka nje ukuthi uNkulunkulu amuvikele
ngaphambili njengoba ebenze njalo ngemuva … Ngakho-ke umkhuleko uqubuka kokwezenkolo
okujwayelekile kumdumisi owaziyo ukuthi uvikelwe nguNkulunkulu ngenxa yobukhona bakhe
ethempelini.” (1959, p. 172-173).
U Weiser ulungile ukuthi athi umkhuleko uqubuke kubudlelwane umbhali wehubo anabo
noNkulunkulu. Kepha, Ngiyacabanga ukuthi umbhali wehubo wayebhekene nobungozi. Hlampe
ubungozi bokuhlubuka uma ubuka izifungo zakhe ezimelene nonkulunkulu (vs. 4) Noma ubungozi
obumenza adlinze ngokufa (vs. 10 – 11). Lokhu kuvela ngokuthi amanye amahubo anjengaleli
(Amahubo 56 – 60, hlampe ngale kwehubo 60)akhuluma ngobungozi obuseduze obuvela kwizitha.
Kepha-ke okucacile ngukuthi noma ngabe yibuphi ubungozi abhekene nabo, usizo lakhe luvela
eNkosini.
Lomkhuleko unolwazi lwemithetho eyishumi. U Walford nabhala nabo babuka kahle ekuhlanganiseni
kwabo ukuncenga kwethemba, ukuthemba umthetho wokuqala, engizongeza kukho ukuthi
kuyahambisana futhi nesisho sokulalela ngoSimakade “uSimakade uNkulunkulu wethu, uSimakade,
munye” (IDut 6:4) (2014,p.179). Isihloko esithungela ndawonye sehubo yintokozo nenjabulo
okuqhamuka kuNkulunkulu yedwa, inkosi umninimandla onke. Lokhu kufakazeleka kokuphambene
okuvezwa kumavesi amane okuqala phakathi kokuthokoza kubazalwane Kanye nokudeda kwizoni.
Thokoza kubazalwane
Enye indlela yokuveza ukuzinikela kuNkulunkulu ukuthakasela lokhu akuthakaselayo. Umbhali
wehubo unokuthakasela ngenjabulo abantu baNkulunkulu, abazalwane/abangcwele. U Walford
nabhala nabo, ngokulungile bathi yize noma igama abangcwele likhuluma ngabasezulwini noma
onkulunkulu noma izingelosi, lokho kufanelekile, kephe-ke iqiniso lingukuthi umbhali wehubo
uthokoza kubo laba abangcwele (vs. 3) okungeke kuze kuvumelane nomunye umcabango ngale
kokuthi labangcwele okukhulunywa ngabo ngumphakathi ongcwele ozinikele kuJehova Onguye
(Yahweh), (2014, p. 179). Ngakho-ke emphakathini wabantu abathola ukwaneliseka kwabo
kuNkulunkulu yedwa, lapho-ke umbhali wehubo uthola ukuthokoza kwakhe futhi.
Deda Kwizoni
Njengokuba sekushiwo, zimbili kuphela izindlela zokuphila. Ukukhetha enye kusho ukushaya indiva
enye. U-Adamu no Eva ngokulalela nje nokwenza lokho abakuyalelwa yinyoka bashaya indiva
uNkulunkulu. Umbhali wehubo lapha wenza okuphambene. Ukhetha uNkulunkulu ashaye indiva
indlela yalabo “abangenasabelo esibusisweni sikaNkulunkulu” (Lane, 2006, p. 84). Futhi,
kunomqondo wemibhalo kaMose.
Ukwanda kosizi kuveza umqondo wokwehla kokuwa. Kusukela kwisiqalekiso sokwanda benhlungu
kowesifazane obelethayo kuya emsebenzini onzima kuze kube ngukuqalekiswa kokwahlukana
nokudideka ekwakheni umbhoshongo waseBhabhele (IGen 3-11). Kepha, injabulo yombhali wehubo
iyafakazeleka, kungesikho ekuhlanganyeleni nabangcwele kuphela, kepha nasekuboneni inkolo
yabangakholwayo njengoba injalo, ukuhlupheka okungapheliyo. Njengokuba umbhali ehlukana
nezoni ngokuba “Ubudlelwane noNkulunkulu buyongamela impilo yomuntu yonke, ngokuba
uNkulunkulu ukhomba umuntu wonke njengowakhe…ukunakekela kukaNkulunkulu abantwana
bakhe kufaka ukukhetha noma ukukhomba kwakhe kubantu kushaye indiva bonke ubudlelwane
nabanye onkulunkulu.” (Weiser, 1995, p. 173 – 174).
Ukufingqa, kuze kube manje sibonile ukuthi umbhali wehubo ungumuntu ozinikele kuNkulunkulu.
Ukuzinikela kwakhe kufakazeleka ngokusobala kulabo akhetha ukuzibandakanya nabo, labo
abangcwele uma uqhathanisa nabantu abangenasabelo kwizibusiso zikaNkulunkulu. Ngalokho-ke,
ukuzinikela kuNkulunkulu ngukwehlukana nonkulunkulu.
Manje-ke, umthandazo wombhali wehubo uyaguquka ekuvumeni kokukholwa uye ethembeni analo
empilweni ngenxa yokukholwa kwakhe.
Ukuphepha ku Yahweh (uJehova onguye) kuphela.
Isivumo sombhali wehubo sokukholwa kuJehova onguye kuphela. Ukuzethemba kwakhe kuqubuka
ebudlelwaneni anabo noNkulunkulu. Kahle hle, ukuzethemba kombhali wehubo kuqubuka ekubeni
noNkulunkulu njengomluleki othembekile. Ukhona yini umeluleki oncono kunalowo owazi ukujula
kwenhliziyo yomuntu anikeze ukubuka endleleni eholela ekuphileni. Ngesipiliyoni nethemba,
umbhali wehubo uyazi ukuthi ezandleni zikaNkulunkulu onjalo uphephile kubuwula balelizwe
nokwahluleka ukuzuza ukuphila ekugcineni.
Ukuphepha ezweni
Ukululeka kukaNkulunkulu kungokuletha ukuthokoza ngokwenziwe yinkosi. Ngokuba uNkulunkulu
uqobo lwakhe, iNKosi, kuphela uNkulunkulu okhona, uyisabelo sakhe. Uma uqhathanisa nalaba
abalandela abanye onkulunkulu bezizuzela ukuhlupheka. Uyifa elipheleleyo lokuthokoza
okutholakalayo. Bobabili yena nabangcwele, uNkulunkulu akabaphanga kuphela isipho esingekho
emhlabeni (Inun 33:50. IDut 32:8-9) kepha nonembeza ovusiwe.
Ngenkathi uNkulunkulu ebhubhisa umhlaba ngozamcolo, kwakungenxa kanembeza olukhuni
woluntu (IGen 6:5). Ngakho-ke kungabekwa ukuthi inhliziyo evusiwe maqondana nokuyala
kukaNkulunkulu iveza umsebenzi kaMoya Ongcwele. Yayinjalo inhliziyo yombhali wehubo. Imini
nobusuku, uMoya kaNkulunkulu umuholela ekulungeni. Futhi wayazi ukuthi ayikho into enhle ekuye
ngokuba usizo lakhe aluveli kuye uqobo kepha luvela enkosini, phambi kwayo, nakwesokunene sayo,
gcina mina, Nkosi! Ngakho-ke ngokwesipiliyoni sombhali wehubo wayenethemba “nesiqiniseko
sosizo lukaNkulunkulu noma nini uma esebungozini nokuyala kukaNkulunkulu nokuhola kwakhe
maqondana nezinqumo okumele azenze.” (Weiser, 1959, p. 176). Inhliziyo yakhe ethobekile yayi
yisipho sobukhona bukaNkulunkulu empilweni yakhe. Futhi, Emoyeni ka Shedraki,Mishako no
Abednego, ngisho inhlekelele noma inhlupheko kumengamela, ukufa kuye kuyoba ngumnyango
omyisa enjabulweni yaphakade.
Ukuphepha ekugcineni
Umbhali wehubo akathembi ukuyala kukaNkulunkulu ekumhlinzekeni kuphela ngempilo enhle,
kepha ekuyaleni kukaNkulunkulu okugcina impilo yakhe ngisho emva kokufa. Lokhu kuthemba
kwesibili kuseduze nokokuqala. Kungenxa yokuthi uyazi ngokukholwa ukuthi ngisho angafa angeke
aze afe, ukuthi okokuqala uyothokoza kwisiqiniseko anaso emhlabeni. Ngokuba iyini impilo emnandi
uma ukufa kuzofika kuqede konke. Kodwa ngokuba uNkulunkulu kwisabelo sakhe, uNkulunkulu
uyogcina impilo yakhe ethuneni, amholele ekuthokozeni kwengunaphakade ebukhoneni bakhe.
Kepha asive sesiphambili kakhulu lapha. Asive silindele ngokulangazelela isifundiso sovuko
esingabonakala lufifi ngesikhathi sakhe? Lokho kungaba yiqiniso, ngokuba vele ishiwoli (ithuna)
kwithestamente elidala yindawo engenalutho, kungekho nhlungu kungekho kuzwa (Goldingay,
20213, np). Kepha umbono wami kulokhu; kuveza ukuthi uDavide wayengaqondi kanjalo.
Kuze kube yimanje angikaze ngiveze ukuthi uDavide uyena umbhali walelihubo ngoba ngicabanga
ukuthi kulapha lakuvela khona ukukhanya kulombhalo. UGoldingay uthi kungase kube “ngumfelokazi
omdala ozinikele” (2006, 40-41). Kepha angicabangi ukuthi kungaba njalo. Okokuqala, amahubo
anjengalawa encwadini yamahubo (Amah 56 – 60) abalelwa kuDavide, okubalwa nehubo 16.
Ngokujwayelekile futhi, ingxenye yokuqala encwadini yamahubo ibalelwa kuye uDavide. Yize noma
singenaso isiqiniseko esiqanda ikhanda ukuthi uDavide wabhala amahubo, kepha nje ngenxa yokuthi
isihloko sehubo singaye kusenza sikwazi ukuma ekutheni ukubhala ngokwakhe kunawo wonke
omunye umuntu. Nabaphostoli babecabanga ukuthi umbhali nguDavide (Ize 2:25–29, 13:35–36).
Ngakho-ke kukaningi ukuthi uDavide kube nguye umbhali wehubo.
Uma ubuka lokhu okungaphezulu, maqondana nesifundiso sovuko uDavide wayazi ukuthi ukufa
kuyomfica nokuthi ngandlela thize umbuso wakhe uzoqhubeka kuze kube phakade (2 Usam 7:11-
16). Uma ngabe imbewu yakhe izakuphakanyiswa ngalendlela, uDavide wayengeke akhulekele
ukuphila impilo ende aze abone isithembiso sikaNkulunkulu sifezeka kuze kube phakade. Ngakho-ke
umkhuleko kaDavide kwakungowokugcinwa kwempilo emzimbeni nasemoyeni, ukuze ezophila
noNkulunkulu, ekuNkulunkulu ingunaphakade. Impela, njengokuba umphostoli uPetru eveza,
umkhuleko kaDavide wawungumkhuleko oyisiphrofetho owagcwaliseka kuJesu (Ize 2:14-3).
Ngizongeza amazwi kulokhu ngokubaluleka kwakho kwamanje, kepha asibe sivala.
Sibonile ukuthi uDavide wayeyindoda yomqondo owodwa, indoda eyayizinikele kuNkulunkulu.
Ukukholwa kwakhe kuNkulunkulu kwamuvulela ithuba lokungahlali akhihle isililo, kepha ukuthi
aphakame ngokuthemba iNkosi. Ngisho ebhekene nezinkinga uDavide wayethokoza empilweni
iNkosi emabele yona. Futhi ngenxa yethemba lempilo ngale kwethuna uNkulunkulu ayomuhola
kuyo. “Ubungani noNkulunkulu (obube yiqiniso empilweni), angeke kuqedwe ngukufa…” (U-
Augustine wacaphuna ku Waltke nabhala nabo, 2019, p. 309). Futhi lokhu ngukulangazelela ukuvuka
kukaKristu Kanye namakholwa okulandelayo. Ithemba eliphilayo lokuphila.
Ukubaluleka kusemanje
Ithemba eliphilayo likaDavide
Ukuthatha futhi kwisingeniso sami, izindlela ezimbili zokuphila kunesizathu esisodwa esingenzeki
ngokupheleleyo engqondweni yami. Isikhathi eside ngangingakwazi ukuqeda ukuba sivivi. Isizathu
salokho ngukuthi imikhuleko yami kwakubonakala sengathi iphelela emafwini. Kepha manje, uma
ngibheka emuva ngiyabona ukuthi imikhuleko yami yayihlezi ingukukhalela ukuhlengwa kepha
ngingenalo ithemba ekulungeni kukaNkulunkulu. Ngangifana nesixuku kwinganekwane yase Afrika
esanyuka sayokhulekela imvula kepha waba yedwa umntwana owanyuka ephethe isambulela.
Umkhuleko njengoba sibonile uveza ithemba nokukholwa okuqinile ekuthembeni iNkosi. Uma
ubhekene nenhlekelele noma inhlupheko, uDavide unethemba elinganyakaziseki ekupheni noma
ekunikezeni kukaNkulunkulu. Ukuthemba kwakhe kuya ngale kokuphila esikwaziyo kuye ekuphileni
okungale kwalokhu kuphila. Umthombo walelithemba lakhe akusikho kuphela lokhu uNkulunkulu
amenzele kona yena nabantu bakhe, kepha kwakukulokhu uNkulunkulu ayemuthembise kona.
Kwisithembiso senzalo, eyayizolandela uDavide esihlalweni sobukhosi kubekwe isihlalo
sikaNkulunkulu saphakade. UDavide wathola ithemba lempilo elamenza alale kahle ebusuku ngisho
enhluphekweni. Ngamanye amazwi, siyabona kwithemba likaDavide ukuthi ukuphepha akutholakali
lapho kungekho khona ubungozi, kepha ekwazini ukuthi uNkulunkulu unawe ngisho ethunzini lokufa
(Amahubo 23). Futhi lena yimpilo abazalwane abamenyelwa kuyo ngisho nanamuhla ekuvukeni
kwenkosi uJesu Kristu owayaziwa nguDavide ngesethembiso kepha amakristu amazi ngomsebenzi
wakhe kanye nezimfundiso zakhe esenyameni. Ekuvukeni kukaKristu, amakristu namhlanje, ngisho
ebhekene nokufa okungevinjwe, angaphila nethemba nentokozo elingana neyombhali wehubo,
“iNkosi iyangazisa indlela yempilo” (Mays, 1998, pp 88-89). Ngakho-ke thina amakristu namhlanje
singathola izwi lethu sikhuleke lelihubo njengamazwi kaNkulunkulu olimini lwethu. Okwakuyithemba
likaDavide ngesithembiso, manje kuyithemba lethu eliphilayo lokuvuka.
