God’s love & lockdown

Lockdown: it was meant to end today.

However, as many of you know, it's here to stay for another 2 weeks.

But will it just be 2 weeks, who knows?

Who knows when normal life will resume again?

Who knows when we will be able to attend lectures, parties, hang out with friends and family, and shop without waiting 1 hour outside the shop?

Who knows? Nothing seems to be certain these days.

Except one thing.

God's love

Psalm 118:1 says,

‘Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! ‘

God showed how much he loved you by sending Jesus to die on a cross so that our sins may be forgiven and eternal life given to all who believe.

This love will never run out

Therefore, the Psalmist tells us in v8-9,

‘It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust man.

It is better to refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.’

So, in a world filled with uncertainties, one thing remains, God's love

WILL YOU TAKE REFUGE IN HIM?

God Bless,
